Cover Page

Hellows,

I dont know why i usually like to start things from the middle then work my way back to the front , just like my 3 little birds cover page. I decided to skip it and do the 2nd scene first. Its gonna get really complicated because Adobe Edge does not allow us to link between folders, so we have to do every scene one by one in a single timeline. So so confusing sometimes i get a little bit messed up.  But anyway i still manage to do the cover page.

Scene 3 - Tari !

Hihi,

I've chose to do Tari's scene !

after 3 blows the cotton candy will fill up the entire screen. i just did one as tryout first. 

its late.

took me hours and a full day just to finish until this part ! cuz i had alot of mistakes earlier. 

:(

Scene 2 - choosing the bird

I've already started the second scene. 

so far no problem, because its kind of the same as the first. haven't add in any extra function, like drag and drop etc.

I think i should shorten the amount of scenes i have, so that i can focus fully on making the animation better. what do you think ? 

Getting the hang of Edge.

As i mention yesterday i had a hard time remembering how to use Adobe Edge, so finally im getting the hang of this and yes its definitely like Adobe Flash.

i think the other day i stopped at this part where the butterflies flaps their wings and the bushes pops up from below.

So next is finding the tiger.

when the user tap on the tiger the bushes and butterflies will move aside to show the tiger in the middle.

because the layer of the tiger is behind 3 bushes and there is not such thing as a pen tool clipping mask in adobe edge, i couldnt even click on the tiger. 

so i had to find another way.

i decided to create a transparent box and layer it on top of everything, so that it is clickable. so in actual fact the tiger is not clickable, its the transparent box that is clickable. hehehehehhehe. 

ta-daaaa transparent box.

and so it works definitely.

well thats about it.

im sorry the progress is sooo awfully slowwwww. 

its because i need time to familiarize myself with this software again, i'll work faster !

animating takes up alot of time too . zzzzzz

Edge Animate My Stress

Hellows this semester is CRAY CRAY (crazy).
Been busy with so many assignments with heavy deadlines, i've been having backache for weeks. I know this is not a personal blog to rant but i just had to.
I've been searching high and low for a tutorial for one of my scene which i need to mask the scene into a circle and at the same time allow users to move the circle around.

I've found one tutorial in the adobe edge animate forum but then the person that post the tutorial removed it or something, ive already left a comment to the user to link back the tutorial file.

so ive tried on my own with all the knowledge i know about edge animate (which is so so limited) and the masking tool only allows me to mask a square but i manage to make it into a circle. 

The problem im facing now is the circle doesnt move, only the background moves. ok thats not bad either if i couldnt find another way. 

Another problem is i couldnt make the circle transparent without making the bushes transparent too.

So i decided ok maybe i'll just move the background and make the circle stagnant, but i realize the background only moves within the square box. 

ok so how now, im lost.

Scene - Tiger

Hellow so i've tried one scene in Adobe Edge Animate and kind of forgot most of the functions, so had to learn from scratch again. The only problem i have right now is to loop some parts of the scene which i tried but failed, and to also stop the scene when it reach a certain time.

The video is a bit laggy ! 

I ADDED BOUNCE TO THE BUSHES AND TIGER, the butterfly wings moves, and the clouds sway left to right.

IT IS NOT CLEAR IN THE VIDEO SOMEHOW. 

this is what i did so far.

FINALLY I'M DONE.

Finally I finish the storyboard in illustrator. lol

I did everything from cover to the last scene. yay :) ok i hope this time it'll be approved :D

I change the whole design completely. most of it. made it brighter and livelier. im sorry , i realize my previous color scheme very dull and boring and bleh. i dont wan Sarawak to look so boring to ppl. i shudnt make the forest look exactly like forest lol. SO now everything is BRIGHTER & CANDY COLOR :D :D candy background candy clouds. yummyyyyy.
